The role will focus on sourcing, underwriting, and executing single-family rental and affordable housing acquisitions across targeted markets. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical background, deep interest in residential real estate, and the ability to evaluate large-scale portfolios as well as individual assets.

What you'll be working on

  • Utilising Bricklane’s technology platforms, undertake market research and analysis on potential residential acquisition opportunities
  • Support with the preparation of investment committee materials on SFR and AH acquisition opportunities
  • Support on transaction management to successfully deliver acquisitions from pricing negotiations through to exchange of contracts
  • Carry out site visits as part of the due diligence process
  • Forging and maintaining relationships with key house builders, including large PLCs and other strategic partners
  • Collaborate with key internal teams including Bricklane Portfolio Management, Legal and Conveyancing and the Delivery Management team
  • Provide regular project updates both internally and to funding partners
  • Contribute to portfolio strategy discussions and assist in identifying target investment areas 
  • Monitor major SFR & AH market trends and themes

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Living sector roles including Affordable Housing, Multi-family and / or Single family housing
  • RICS or CFA qualified preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with real estate valuation, capital markets, and investment structures.
  • Experience working with and reporting to various stakeholders and clients.
  • Computer literate with strong knowledge of Excel for data analysis and residential appraisals
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.
