The University and Early Career Recruiter is responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract, engage, and hire top early-career talent across consulting, sales, cybersecurity, and technology roles. This role builds and maintains strong partnerships with universities, technical programs, faculty, and student organizations to position the company as an employer of choice.
The recruiter will lead full-cycle campus recruitment efforts, including event planning, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and offer management. They will design and manage a high-impact internship program that provides meaningful project work, mentorship, and development opportunities, while also driving conversion to full-time roles.
Working closely with hiring managers and technical leaders, the recruiter ensures a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and hiring teams. This includes maintaining recruitment calendars, creating job postings and interview guides, and tracking program metrics such as pipeline health, diversity outcomes, and conversion rates.
The ideal candidate will be a strong brand ambassador who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about building the future workforce. This role also plays a key part in ensuring compliance, driving process improvements, and enhancing the company's employer brand through storytelling and digital engagement.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Build and maintain strong relationships with career centers, faculty, and student organizations at priority universities, colleges, and technical programs.
· Represent the company at campus events including career fairs, information sessions, and diversity-focused student group activities.
· Partner with hiring managers to identify early-career hiring needs in consulting, sales, cybersecurity, and technology roles.
· Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for interns and new graduates: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
· Design and launch a structured internship program that gives students hands-on client and internal project exposure.
· Partner with technical leaders to develop meaningful intern projects, training opportunities, and mentorship assignments.
· Establish evaluation and feedback processes for interns to measure performance and identify full-time conversion opportunities.
· Plan and oversee intern onboarding, orientation, social events, and an end-of-program showcase.
· Manage all aspects of the recruitment process including pre-screening, virtual and in-person interviews, reference checks, and offers.
· Create and manage an annual university recruiting calendar aligned with academic cycles.
· Develop employer branding materials (presentations, flyers, social media content) to promote the company as an employer of choice for students.
· Track program metrics (pipeline health, conversion rates, retention, diversity outcomes) and recommend improvements year-over-year.
· Collaborate with marketing to amplify intern and campus program success stories across digital platforms.
· Ensure accuracy of job descriptions, manage postings on Clearwater’s career website as well as other relevant posting websites.
· Design a CLEAR end to end positive experience for candidates and hiring managers in the recruiting and hiring process, including providing clear SLAs, providing updates on candidate pool, ensuring interview process is well managed and adhered to, overseeing and tracking requisition process and postings.
· Serve as a Clearwater and Redspin, brand ambassador at various events, like career fairs or on-campus recruiting events.
· Create and maintain job profiles to include interviewing guides.
· Ensure all new team members experience a successful start by partnering with other members of the Colleague Success team, hiring managers and other functions within Clearwater.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to hiring and employment.
· Track and analyze key recruitment metrics to evaluate and improve hiring performance.
· Champion continuous improvement of Talent Acquisition processes through documentation and automation.
· Perform other duties within the scope of the role as assigned.
· A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition
· Demonstrated experience building internship or campus recruiting programs from the ground up
· Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and campus recruiting platforms (Handshake, etc.).
· Experience with managing change in an agile environment
· Passion for developing early career talent, with interest or experience in cybersecurity/technology recruiting highly preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & KNOWLEDGE
· BA/BS degree from an accredited university
· High confidence driven by subject matter expertise and experience and ease to partner with leadership team

The base salary range for this role is $_____85,000______ to $_____110,000______. Base salary is part of our total rewards package which also includes the opportunity for merit-based salary increases, eligibility for our 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances and leaves provided in line with your work state. Our robust time-off policy includes flexible paid time off, 11 paid holidays, and paid sick time. Total compensation, including base salary to be offered, will depend on elements unique to each candidate, including applicable candidate experience, skills, education and other factors permitted by law.
