DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner.
- Works under guidance of Field Supervisor or Project Manager to delegate job responsibilities to the crew.
- Oversee emergency response cleanup activities including but not limited to chemical and water spills, non-hazardous and hazardous waste and toxic materials and equipment decontamination. May perform these duties as needed.
- Train and mentor field technicians.
- Follow policies and procedures for control and storage of hazardous substances.
- Comply with the Random Drug Testing Program.
- May perform various housekeeping and custodial duties and other duties and assist unloading trucks and other ancillary duties as needed.
- Answer 24/7 Emergency Response calls when on uncontrolled standby.
- Work long hours and overtime during day, night or weekend shifts.
- Other reasonable directives, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
- Supervise and lead the work crews completing operational duties at spills, projects, and other job sites. With guidance from Field Supervisor or Project Manager
- Contact Field Supervisor or Project Manager to receive guidance for any issues that arise.
- Gather data to complete timesheets, work summaries, manifests, picture logs, etc. as required.
- Manage time, materials, and equipment on worksite. Procure rental equipment as needed.
- Ensure the proper use of equipment and materials.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
- Driving record that meets company standards and current DMV printout, required.
- 2 - 3 years industry experience preferred.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, required.
- Confined Space Entry certification required.
- Some supervisory experience preferred.

- Push and pull on a frequent daily basis.
- Twist and turn on a frequent daily basis.
- Lift items overhead on a frequent daily basis
- Stand 6-8 hours per day.
- Crouch and stoop for prolonged periods.
- Typing and data entry on a frequent daily basis.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a frequent daily basis.
- Work in all environmental temperatures and weather conditions.
SALARY RANGE $34.67-$41.35 hourly
