SMRMC Full Time 1306-Storeroom Steward-8050 Dietary chez Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center

Job Summary: The Dietary Storeroom Steward worker under the supervision of the Director of Dietary use safety guidelines to clean and sanitize the dietary area. The Storeroom Steward is required to follow sanitary standards in the housekeeping of the work area in the cleaning of related equipment, utensils and personal hygiene. The Storeroom Steward may be called upon to assist others in the dietary area in setting up patient line and the delivery of trays. The Storeroom Steward will be assigned to work 80hrs. per pay period beginning Sunday through Saturday rotating every other weekend. The hours will be from 7:00am to 3:00pm. The Storeroom Steward is expected to function within the scope of approved policies, procedures and regulations for the department and organization. Must be able to work and relate in a professional non-defensive manner with peers, physicians, administration, patients and visitors. Attendance to yearly mandatory educations in non-negotiable and will be the responsibility of the employee to schedule and attend sessions. Must also be willing to accept and complete any task assigned by the Director of Dietary or supervisor.
