The Valley Imports is looking for an energetic, detailed, responsible individual who enjoys driving to join our parts team! This employee would deliver auto body parts in a box truck or sprinter van between Bismarck and Minot, Monday-Friday. Candidates must be based in Bismarck or Minot, or the surrounding area. Pay is between $41,600-$52,000/yr.
JOB SUMMARY
The Parts Delivery Driver position is responsible for delivery of parts.
QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)
Education and/or years’ experience required:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum of 18 years old.
Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required.
- Must possess a valid DOT medical certificate or be able to pass a DOT physical exam.
- Must be capable of driving long distances for parts delivery, navigating Midwest road conditions and weather.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable):
- No supervisory responsibilities required for this position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITES
- Timely and accurate delivery of parts to customers on designated route; must be able to load and unload necessary parts.
- Must be capable of working under pressure, work independently, and have the ability to handle stressful situations that may arise.
- Provide excellent customer service to customers.
- Verify and review all deliveries to ensure customers receive correct orders.
- Completes vehicle safety checks per Company policy and operates the vehicle within safety guidelines; immediately reports any safety concerns or Company Policy violations to management.
- Maintain a professional demeanor.
- Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
- Performs Wallwork Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.
- Upholds Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrate the behavioral and service expectations as defined in our policies and procedures.
