Arconic is currently in search Maintenance Supervisor to join our Aluminum Extrusion (AEX) business unit in Lafayette, IN.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate maintenance activities during assigned shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment maintenance, team leadership, and continuous improvement, and supervisory experience in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Supervise and direct maintenance technicians to ensure timely and effective completion of work orders, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.
- Monitor equipment performance and reliability, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and support operational goals.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, shift reports, and equipment history.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to build a high-performing maintenance crew.
- Participate in root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for equipment and supplies.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience using maintenance databases such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or similar planning and scheduling tools.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Qualified candidate must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the relevant government agency. Business demands may require employer to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering, science, or manufacturing from an accredited institution.
- Experience working/supervising in a Union environment.
- Experience and knowledge of Oracle EAM work order system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software packages such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
