POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
This position works with the Treasury Management Officers (TMOs) and, in some cases, other Banking Officers in the account opening process, implementation of new Treasury services, and servicing existing clients to maintain and improve deposit relationships. In addition, this position will assist TMOs in cross-selling Treasury Management products and services and addressing client-specific product needs and questions. This position will also work with the TMOs and other Banking Officers in the market to help provide general administrative support for client relationships and may act as a point of contact for commercial banking clients for servicing requests related to Treasury Management support and overall client relationship.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a banking operations or sales support role preferred.
• Minimum of 1-year previous sales experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively sell bank products and services required.
• Clear communication skills, ability to prioritize, and critical thinking skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Servicing - 35%
• Responsible for opening new business accounts and onboarding new clients to the bank, in general and with Treasury Management services as needed.
• Responsible for general account maintenance, including updating existing accounts, signature card changes, beneficial owner changes, credit and debit card support, etc.
• Research existing client questions and issues providing maintenance as needed.
• Navigate the bank for the client.
• Implementation of all Treasury Services (including completion of paperwork for back office).
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Ongoing, superior account relationship management of portfolio of clients.
Sales Support - 35%
• Work closely with TMOs and Banking Officers to successfully onboard and provide general guidance to new clients.
• Work closely with Treasury Management Support and Product for issue resolution.
• Assist TMOs with ACH processes including input of credit requests.
• Work with Treasury Management Sales Team in preparing proposals for new clients.
• Maintain and improve commercial relationships.
• Promote all Treasury Management products and services.
Cross Sell - 30%
• Develop cross-sell opportunities within existing commercial clients.
• Utilize Treasury Management reviews as a tool to generate cross-sells.
• Analyze reports from various areas to effectively target clients for the cross-sell of products.
• Demonstrate proficiency in sales of all strategic Treasury Management products.
• Learn the credit culture of Republic Bank in order to present appropriate credits for approval.
• Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.
• Model and foster behaviors that support the Bank’s values and corporate culture creating an atmosphere of trust, cooperation, accountability, and dedication to the organization.
• Willingly perform all other duties and projects as assigned.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients.

• Good Treasury Management or Operational technical skills to effectively inform clients about products and service.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Travel between Republic Banking facilities may be required including occasional out of town travel.
• Flexible work schedule may include some evenings, weekends and/or overtime.
• Stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.
