The Clerk of Courts Department is actively seeking an Applications Report Writer.

The Applications Report Writer is responsible for creating reports and validating data analytics for the agency. This role requires a deep understanding of government regulations, technical standards, best practices, and the ability to translate complex information into clear and concise reports.
Position Duties
- Create and develop reports using data collection techniques and reporting software such as Power BI, Power Automate, and SSRS.
- Validate data sources to ensure integrity, consistency, and accuracy of data reported.
- Collaborate with internal team members and other State or City agencies to understand reporting requirements and needs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather accurate information.
- Ensure all documents comply with relevant state and federal laws, regulations, and Clerk standards.
- Edit and proofread documents for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and statutory changes.
- Manage projects and meet deadlines.
- Interacting with vendors, identifying and implementing software solutions.
- Perform other related job duties as assigned.

Other Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in report writing.
- Proficiency with database querying languages, specifically SQL.
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Experience with reporting tools and software such as Power BI and Power Automate.
- Experience working in a government or military environment.
- Knowledge of legal and technical terminology.
- SQL Server Certification (required)
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) (required)
- Power BI Data Analyst Associate (preferred)
- Must maintain CJIS certification during employment.
