The Procurement Compliance Clerk will support our global trade compliance initiative by coordinating the collection and validation of documentation from our supplier base. This role focuses on outreach, follow-up, and data review for component and raw material suppliers to ensure that all required trade compliance documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
This is an ideal position for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing large-scale supplier communications and data workflows in a dynamic procurement environment.
This is a 6 Week Contract Role.
Hours: 8AM-5PM (w/ 30min lunch, two 15min breaks)
CORE FUNCTIONS
· Conduct outreach to suppliers to request completion of trade compliance documentation using provided templates and instructions.
· Manage and track communications with a large number of suppliers, ensuring timely responses and thorough documentation follow-up.
· Prepare and pre-populate data templates using existing supplier and part information to streamline supplier response.
· Review submitted forms and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to compliance requirements.
· Maintain organized records of supplier responses and documentation status within internal systems or shared trackers.
· Collaborate with internal teams (Procurement, Trade Compliance, Quality) to resolve questions or escalate missing/incorrect information.
· Develop summaries or reports on supplier compliance completion rates and key metrics as requested.
· Support continuous improvement of outreach and tracking processes to increase efficiency and supplier responsiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· 1–3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain operations, compliance, or data coordination roles.
Required Licenses
· None.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
· Skilled in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Power-Point, Outlook. Knowledge of Database software; Internet software; SharePoint, and others.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle a large volume of parallel tasks.
· Excellent written communication and follow-up skills for professional supplier correspondence.
· High attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing supplier-provided information.
· Experience with trade compliance documentation, mass supplier communications or supplier qualification processes preferred.

· Individual Contributor: working team member with no oversight of others and no management responsibilities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· This position is subject to sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
