We’re looking to strengthen our team with a skilled Production Plant Operator within our Infrastructure Services Business to support the delivery of major road infrastructure projects across North Queensland. Key Responsibilities
- Uphold industry related standards, specifications and quality requirements.
- Work effectively within tight deadlines.
- Operate an Asphalt Production and Bitumen Blending Plant.
- Conduct routine plant inspection checklists.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite.
- Identify and communicate opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Participate actively in preventative maintenance, toolbox talks and safety meetings.
About You
You’ll bring a strong commitment to teamwork, safety and continuous improvements, along with:
- Proven experience working in fixed plants and maintenance.
- A Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Relevant tickets such as First Aid, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, Forklift and Front-end Loader (desirable but not essential).
- An energetic, self-motivated and positive attitude.
- Strong awareness of safety and environmental practices.
