What’s On Offer:
As a Senior IT Service Management (ITSM) Analyst, you will provide IT Service Management analysis for S&P Technology including the CHESS Replacement Project.
Working closely the CHESS Service Owner and the wider CHESS Replacement Technical Readiness team, the scope of the role includes the management and controls over the CHESS service, system, infrastructure, data, monitoring, security, change, release, capacity, availability, continuity and risk activities aligning to ASX enterprise policies, standards and industry regulatory obligations.
What you’ve done:
5+ years of IT service management experience with Degree in Computer Science / IT with experience in mission critical applications operations including cloud-based applications
5+ years functional experience to Incident, Problem and Change Management
Strong understanding of CMDB and Knowledge Management
Experience working with cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform) and modern integration platforms (KAFKA)
Strong knowledge of ITIL and COBIT frameworks including IT Service Management platforms, such as ServiceNow
Exposure to Agile practices/tools like daily scrums, JIRA/Confluence and Workflows
Experience in Non-Functional testing and BCP/Disaster recovery planning
Strong communication & interpersonal skills
Understanding of risk management best practices
Working with vendors, consultants both on and offshore
Experience working in a highly regulated environment
And if you’ve got some of this, even better:
Experience in financial services/capital markets, ideally in the Clearing & settlement/Equities market
Presentation skills on technical concepts to non-technical audiences to assure understanding and alignment
Exposure to the equities trading life-cycle (T+2)
Technical experience in distributed systems, high availability, performance-critical systems
Experience in implementing/executing Incident Management process (Run)
Experience in implementing/executing Change Management process (Run/Maintain)
Experience in implementing/executing IT Configuration Management process
Experience in Project Management environment (Build)
Experience in Application Support environment (Run)
Working knowledge in containerisation, Kubernetes and CI/CD deployment tools like GITLAB
Experience in operational management of Cloud environments including integration capabilities between multiple clouds
