To support our continued growth, we are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner – Fixed Plant to join our Fixed Plant Maintenance team. This is a permanent, full-time position at the Leonora Gwalia Operations. Your focus is to provide effective and responsive maintenance planning support to Leonora Operations to safely achieve the equipment availability and asset utilisation necessary to meet annual production.
 
This position will be FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster.
 
The opportunity

• Implement and update maintenance plans and frequencies for plant and equipment.

• Optimise department and plant performance through effective maintenance planning.

• Develop the computerised maintenance management system master data, with continuous improvement of maintenance system strategies and tasks.

• Produce maintenance documents such as Standard Operating Procedures, Safe Work Instructions, Checklists and Preventive Maintenance Procedures.

• Monitor the maintenance costs and assist with compiling budget estimates.

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and that statutory inspections are programmed into the computer management database.

• Ensure all safety hazards, environmental hazards, incidents, damage, breakdowns and potential plant or equipment stoppages are reported and investigated as soon as practicable

We would love to hear from you if you have​:

• Trade qualification (Mechanical/Electrical)

• Significant demonstrated maintenance planning experience in the mining industry or heavy industry

• Pronto experience is desirable

• Excellent time management and organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
