Job Title
Summary of the role
This role is ideal for someone with experience in Java and API development. You’ll contribute to coding, debugging, and documenting applications using Java technologies, while supporting users to ensure the full value of the product is realized.
Your main responsibilities
- Design and propose plans to develop new application software or enhance existing systems.
- Model, design, and implement databases as needed.
- Write efficient and testable code and maintain software solutions.
- Collaborate with the Scrum Product Owner and Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- Identify and resolve issues based on Problem Tracking Records and Change Requests.
About the ideal candidate
- Typically brings 6–10 years of experience in Java-based technologies.
- Contributes across all phases of application development.
- Experience working with JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, NodeJS, or ReactJS.
- Proficient in creating secure RESTful web services using XML/JSON and writing test cases in JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, and experience with CI/CD and Microservices is beneficial.
