Your Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated Sales Engineer to join our team.

This position plays a key role in supporting the implementation of customer strategy and driving success across project phases, specifically within the “Acquire & Quote” and “Develop & Launch” processes. The individual will manage all relevant activities to ensure project targets are met, while maintaining high standards of documentation and data quality within Benteler systems.

A critical aspect of the role involves preparing and supporting customer negotiations, including the development of detailed cost breakdowns using internal costing tools. The successful candidate will ensure that all customer-specific agreements are considered throughout the development of orders, contributing to smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading customer meetings related to orders and acquisitions, including negotiation sessions.
  • Preparing data for sales planning and supporting the calculation of prototype and serial production costs.
  • Identifying and suggesting cost optimization opportunities to Account Managers, Global Account Directors, or Program Directors.
  • Expanding and strengthening customer relationships within the assigned commodity area.
  • Maintaining a strong customer orientation across internal teams and processes.

Additionally, the role requires regular communication with supervisors regarding customer-related matters and providing support for any activities assigned by the direct supervisor.

Your Personality

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering
  • 5+ years of automotive supplier experience
  • Demonstrated success with OEM customers
