We’re looking for a detail-oriented Calibration & Repair Technician to support our lab operations by performing both routine and advanced calibration and repair services. You’ll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where precision and quality are key. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and contributing to customer satisfaction through reliable service.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment returned by customers
- Perform calibration services following approved procedures and specifications.
- Accurately complete and maintain documentation for repairs, calibrations, and quality systems (e.g., ISO compliance).
- Identify and escalate unusual product issues to technical support or relevant teams.
- Create calibration data sheets when needed, with minimal guidance.
- Share insights and trends from repair data to help improve product performance and customer experience.
- Support lab operations with general tasks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., daily
- scheduling, visual management, Kaizen).
- Follow all quality management system policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 1–2 years of experience in equipment calibration or repair (or related technical field).
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Familiarity with temperature probes and digital multimeters.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working on routine assignments with limited supervision.
- Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and internet-based applications.
Preferred:
- Associate degree, technical certification, or continued education in a related field.
- Experience creating calibration documentation or working in a repair center environment.
