As a Factory Service Center Aircraft Exterior Finisher, you will work from an assigned Factory Service Center performing aircraft scheduled and unscheduled Exterior Finishing duties as assigned. All work will be performed and documented in compliance with reference to the appropriate technical data including manuals, standard operating procedures and regulations as required. Working conditions include occasional travel and semi - frequent face to face contact with Owners and Operators.
This opening is Monday through Thursday 0630 am to 5 pm.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Adhere to Cirrus Aircraft Standard Operating Procedures
- Comply with environmental health / safety policies and procedures
- Maintain the highest levels of professionalism in conduct and appearance while representing Cirrus Aircraft.
- Observe & maintain all requirements & criteria set forth by the Cirrus Part 145 Repair Station Manual.
- Read and understand maintenance manuals and other technical documents and identify repair procedure
- Review and research aircraft records
- Evaluate & interpret aircraft data
- Composite preparation
- Surface filler preparation and shaping
- Sanding and buffing
- Adding vinyl striping
- Laying and smoothing sealants
- Primer application
- Detailing Interior/Exterior of Aircraft
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
- Assist, support and participate in Factory Service Center indirect activities such as moving aircraft, shop projects, and continuous improvement projects as assigned.
Qualifications

Education Requirements:
- Minimum High School education or equivalent required
- Complete 100% Cirrus CBT Training after joining
- Complete 100% Cirrus University training after joining
- Complete 90% of incoming, Detail and buffing related core signoffs after joining
Experience Requirements:
- Demonstrated prep/painting aptitude
- < 1yrs sanding and prepping parts for paint experience and/or
- <1 yrs detailing experience
- < 1 yrs Cirrus model experience
Certification Requirements:
- N/A
License Requirements:
- Valid State Driver's License
- Ability to obtain an Airport Security Badge
Other Specific Requirements:
- Begin Core Task List completion
