The Equipment Engineer is responsible for maintaining and improving production equipment to ensure safe, stable, and efficient operation. This role involves equipment installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and technical support for new and existing systems in the manufacturing environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

•    Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment operation and safety to ensure compliance and operator safety.
•    Apply strong knowledge of mechanical principles, material mechanics, and engineering fundamentals to support equipment design and troubleshooting.
•    Proficiently use CAD and at least one 3D modeling software; understand chemical process equipment design, fabrication, and performance testing standards.
•    Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical equipment failures, and propose improvement actions to enhance reliability.
•    Conduct regular equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and root cause analysis to identify and eliminate potential issues.
•    Coordinate and support the installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing of new equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Primarily based in a factory or production facility. Requires regular presence on the manufacturing floor, interaction with equipment, and coordination with operations and engineering teams. May involve moderate noise levels, exposure to industrial materials, and adherence to all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

•    Ability to stand, walk, climb, and move around production areas for extended periods.
•    Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds (≈14 kg) occasionally.
•    Capable of working in moderate temperature variations and around mechanical or electrical equipment.
•    Good manual dexterity and vision for performing inspections, maintenance, and technical tasks safely.

  POSITION TYPE
This is a full-time position.

TRAVEL
Some travel (30%).


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

•    Bachelor’s Degree in electric related major;
•    Over 1 years Equipment engineer experience, solar or battery project preferred;
•    Over 1 year energy related work background; 
•    Working knowledge of the company’s products, competitive products and the market
