About the Department
The Nature of this position involves support for the Y.O.E.M.E. Services Program for work including data validation, training, reporting, tracking data entry for accuracy per schedule, and where necessary data mining to ensure that the work participation rate data report submission is prepared and transmitted per schedule.
Position Duties
- Assist data analyst to process, store, analyze, prepare report and transmit WPR data utilizing the Tribal Assistance System data platform.
- Assist program analyst and management to improve data validation efficiency and helps to implement operational effectiveness through daily monitoring of data processing and distribution.
- Assist management to develop, implement, and operationally evaluate administrative strategies or changes in internal operating policy & procedures to incorporate new regulatory requirements, and to improve, expedite and eliminate data validation management problems.
- Provides assistance and participates in the coordination of special assignments to implement and resolve general WPR data management matters and other appropriate issues and related to the functional responsibilities of the program(s).
- Assist Management to coordinates and monitors practices and procedures utilized by the program staff to ensure compliance with all applicable TANF regulations and procedures involving the TAS data platform.
- As directed by supervisor, researches and gathers data; conducts fact-finding assignments; and develops results or findings.
- As requested, obtains, coordinates, and prepares or edits responses for administrative and programmatic information requests.
- Assist data analyst to generates spreadsheets, charts, summary tables, and statistics used in various data validation reports and presentations.
- Provides assistance in tracking data or documents in reference to agency or agency program{s). Generates internal and external documents or correspondence that assists in the workflow of the program operation. Collects various program information and data involving documents.
- Works closely with the Y.O.E.M.E. Services and General Assistance Manager to provide support in all WPR and related data validation and processing duties as assigned.

Knowledge of:
- Skills to/in:
- Knowledge of the mission, function and operational policies and procedures of the Y.O.E.M.E Services Program or department and program(s) to effectively, accurately and expeditiously complete work assignments in concert with established operational objectives.
- Knowledge of administrative concepts and practices to support data validation for the tribal assistance system and data platform operations
- Knowledge of pertinent regulatory laws, codes, and practices to resolve issues, and assist management with the support necessary to sustain related operations.
- Ability to apply analytical, investigative and evaluative methods and techniques to resolve problems, conduct research, gather information, and assist to generate recommendations to resolve productivity issues.
- Ability to communicate with others both orally and in writing to formulate and present report conclusions, explain and interpret data information and ensure cohesive, teamwork and cooperative efforts with team members.
- Ability to exercise tact, discretion and skill in human relations in dealing with persons from all walks of life and varying socioeconomic levels.
- Knowledge of, and proficient in the use of operating a personal computer (PC), utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc., and a willingness to learn new technology associated with assigned work tasks.
Other Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field and experience in social work programing with at least one year of experience pertaining to data collections and validation processes in Social Work/TANF Program; or any combination of education, training, or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of this position.

- Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver’s License;
- This position may require the incumbent to work non-traditional hours, nights, and weekends;
- Must have a current Level 1 Arizona Clearance Card or be able to obtain the Level 1 Arizona Clearance Card within ninety (90) days of hire. Failure to maintain a current Level 1 Clearance Card will result in termination.
