Job Summary: Responsible for delivery and supervision of the Outreach and Admissions department. Plans and conducts community relations programs designed to create and maintain favorable public relations for the center and its students in accordance with DO, PRH, Corporate and center requirements.

Duties:

• Meets or Exceeds Arrival Goals (OA Quota Goals).

• Ensure 80% of arrivals stay in the program for at least 90 days, this includes student surveys, evening hours and participation in student activities which include but is not limited to community service.

• Perform in the top 20% of OA contracts on the OA report card or 100% of goals, whichever is higher.

• Supervises all activities and duties of Outreach and Admissions.

• Develop meaningful relationships and partnerships with community leaders, government officials, community organizations, Workforce Development Boards, Youth Councils, One-Stops, employers and other business partners.

• Provides oversight of the Community Relations Council.

• Provides a monthly Center Newsletter.

• Manages and maintains the student leadership committee for Outreach and Admissions.

• Manage OA staff and other staff as required.

• Complete required reports, analysis and data collection.

• Conduct regular site visits to all NEAP centers. Travel required to include overnight when necessary.

• Fully participate in the National Job Corps Association's STAR program and develop plans and strategies to meet or exceed established goals.

• Recommends and updates policies and procedures for contract operation to improve performance and in accordance with Insights Training Group, LLC established standards and the Department of Labor Office of Job Corps requirements.

• Adheres to required property control policies and procedures.

• Complies with all Department of Labor guidelines, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) regulations, Job Corps notices and bulletins, and Insights Training Group, LLC policies and procedures.

• Participates in PRH mandated staff training.

• Models appropriate Employability Skills and Career Success Standards.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: Associate degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Education, Social Science, Business, Communications, or closely related field, and 4 years’ related supervisory experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Education, Social Science, Business, Communications, or closely related field, and 2 years’ related supervisory experience is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid State driver’s license required.
