PT FWD Insurance Indonesia (“FWD Insurance”), a joint-venture insurance company and a part of FWD Group, previously known as PT Commonwealth Life, has successfully merged with PT FWD Life Indonesia (“FWD Life”) as of 1 December 2020 and will be known as FWD Insurance.
The merger of FWD Life and FWD Insurance has led to a more comprehensive range of products, including unit-linked insurance, individual & group term life insurance, individual & group personal accident insurance, and group medical insurance through technology driven-distributions such as agency, bancassurance, e-commerce, and corporate.

Responsible for the success of digital transformation programs, including migrating on-premises environments to the cloud, providing cloud technology solutions, and streamlining operations to achieve IT KPI and SLA. Coordinate with Group Cloud Center of Excellence and Group Technology Services to ensure cloud development and implementation align with Group Cloud-first Strategy standards and architectures.- Provide appropriate cloud technology adoption solutions to cater requirements of businesses on initiatives.
- Manage adopted cloud platforms, services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and other XaaS.) and its integration for supporting requirements of business.
- Manage alignments of business requirements and Group cloud technology standards / directions.
- Provide implementation strategies and proposed plans to deliver adopted cloud platforms and services.
- Manage good processes governance for implementation cloud platforms and services.
- Oversee the implementation of cloud technologies and the execution of the cloud adoption strategies for ensuring alignment with agreed plans od decisions.
- Ensuring cloud technology adoptions in secure to cover requirements of information/data protection based on corporate cyber security standards and guidelines.
- Managing collaborations with counterparts (Group IT, local teams, cloud providers and other 3rd parties) for succeeding implementations of adopted cloud platforms and services.
- Providing resolutions or solution options for any issues (incidents / problems) which are faced or escalated to ensure the time to repair and delivery for closing those issues meet the SLA targets.
- Manage expectations of business (end users) in order for ensuring the targets of IT KPI and SLA are achieved.
- Manage physical and on-premise system environments, ensuring their integration and alignment with cloud platforms and services.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for on-premise and cloud systems to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Manage regular security assessments and applying necessary patches and updates to protect on-premise systems from vulnerabilities.
