Ron Tonkin Honda is looking for a Detailer/Cilajet Installer who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As the only Honda dealership in Portland, our business continues to grow — and so does our need for quality-focused team members. This position plays a vital role in the final presentation of our vehicles, ensuring that every car leaves the lot looking its best. Whether it's preparing vehicles for delivery or applying Cilajet paint protection, your work directly contributes to the customer's first impression.

The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, the ability to work efficiently, and previous experience in automotive detailing or product application is a plus — but we’re willing to train the right individual with a strong work ethic.

Detailer / Cilajet Installer Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and detail vehicles inside and out
• Apply Cilajet paint and surface protection products to vehicles
• Inspect finished vehicles to ensure high-quality standards are met
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detail bay and work area
• Assist with vehicle lot organization and movement as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and dealership guidelines

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday

Pay Range: $20.00/hour Flat Rate

Qualifications

Detailer/Cilajet Installer Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive detailing or paint protection is highly preferred
• Familiarity with Cilajet or similar surface protection products is a plus (training available)
• Self-motivated and able to work efficiently without constant supervision
• Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely
• Dependable and punctual — strong attendance is a must

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
