Job Qualifications: Arizona Elementary Teacher Certification Required. SEI endorsement preferred.

Licensing/Certification Requirements: Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.

Employment Information: 2025-26 school year; 194 work days (216 day teacher calendar)

Future Requirement:  Literacy Endorsement (unless you hold a Reading K-8, Reading K-12 or Reading Specialist K-12 endorsement)
Timeline: 

• Teachers who were certified on or before 8/1/2025 have until 8/1/2028 to obtain the literacy endorsement.
• Teachers who certify after 8/1/2025 will have 3 years from certificate issuance to obtain the literacy endorsement.
• Teachers who graduate from AZ colleges in 2025 should have completed the coursework and should have the certificate on their licenses.
