Summary/Objective 
 
The material crib attendant is responsible for warehouse operations including receiving, organizing and issuing all incoming material, location arrangements of material, 5S, cycle counts, and other related duties assigned by management.  

 

Essential Functions

  1. 5S, storage environment, location arrangement of class B-F material in warehouse and chemical warehouse, following all warehouse management rules and regulations.
  2. Receiving, organizing, and classified storage of Class B, C, D, E, F material. 
  3. Distribution of raw material for production team following production schedules. 
  4. Retrieval and stacking of the material empty containers. Regularly inform supplier for returning of empties. (Warehouse supervisor support). 
  5. Responsible for retrieval of chemical material empty containers, refilling empty chemical bottles and informing EHS to contact supplier for recycling. 
  6. Conduct weekly inventory count for material inventory to ensure physical inventory matches with system inventory. Responsible for consistency of the physical-system inventory match. Anything not matching is found, find the cause and follow up to solve it. 
  7. Organize material locations, moving stocks accordingly for FIFO. Submit Expired Inventory Test Application for expired material and arrange the product according to test result.  
  8. Inspect the material storage quality regularly (environment, expired or OK status, unqualified management). Keep good inspection records and improve any un-conformance items. Handle unqualified products following upper management's instruction or report. 
  9. Conduct    monthly inventory count, summarizing, analyzing, adjusting, and implementing the improvement for inventory count result. And submit inventory count summary to Warehouse Supervisor for review. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. 

 

Work Environment

  1. This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets.
  2. Must be 18 years or older

 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods. Duties also include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds. 

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
 
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 1st and 2nd shift. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

 

Travel 

Little to no travel is expected for this position.

 

Required Education and Experience

  1. 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. 
  2. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
