About the Department

Under the direction of the Recreation Supervisor, the Warming House Supervisor will perform supervisory and administrative work in directing all phases of warming house operations and other general supervision of the ourdoor rinks as assigned y the Recreation Supervisor.

Position Duties

Essential Administration Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with evaluating Warming House Attendants job performance
• Coordinate special event programming
• Act as liaison  between customers and Warming House Attendants when concerns/issues need to be addressed
• Document, compile and provide attendance records on a weekly basis
• Participate in hiring Warming House Attendants including interviewing applicants, orientating, and monitoring staff training programs
• Assist with planning and coordinating all necessary staff training including,  but not limited to: general orientation, first aid, concussion training and other training that is needed and/or required
• Remind Warming House Attendants about due dates of time sheets
• Oversee and schedule Warming House Attendants' hours
• Monitor and inspect warming house facilities to ensure they are a safe and clean environment for customers

Peripheral Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure policies and procedures are followed
• Works as a Warming House Attendant when needed and if a shift is open
• Responds to emergencies
• Works as a support person for Warming House Attendants
• Attends meetings, seminars or other training as needed 
• Preforms other duties as assigned
