About Us: Hydrasearch is a U.S. manufacturer specializing in fluid-transfer and control systems for maritime, aerospace, and defense applications. Since it's fouding in 1962, Hydrasearch has developed capabilities in hose assemblies, valve fittings, and customer machined parts, often to meet MIL-SPEC and naval standards.
At Hydrasearch, we value the contributions of our Military Veterans and proudly employ our nation’s heroes. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.

- Oversee daily incoming, in-process, and final inspections to meet AS9100 and customer requirements.
- Implement first-article inspections, sampling plans, and statistical process controls (SPC).
- Support corrective actions for product and manufacturing process nonconformances by providing inspection data, analysis, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure inspection requirements align with design intent.
- Evaluate and improve measurement systems, calibration compliance, and inspection tools.
- Coordinate with Purchasing and Quality Assurance to evaluate supplier quality performance and support vendor qualification through inspection and verification results.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics (defect rates, inspection throughput, backlog, etc.).
- Develop and enforce standard work instructions for inspection and conformance tasks.
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
🎯 What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 7–10+ years of experience in quality, inspection, or manufacturing leadership (aerospace/defense preferred).
- Deep working knowledge of ISO or AS9100 standards and conformance practices.
- Strong experience with metrology, CMM, SPC, FAI, and measurement system analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and build high-performing teams.
