First National Bank of America’s Loan Servicing Team is seeking a proactive, detailed and organized Escrow Quality Analyst for our team. The Escrow Quality Analyst’s primary role will be to ensure the accurate entry of flood and hazard insurance data in accordance with compliance and regulatory guidelines. This multi-faceted role also reviews customer statements for accuracy and issues escrow refunds to borrowers. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have a natural curiosity which drives them to understand the details of the data being reviewed, a sharp eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, a capability to multi-task and prioritize; and strong written and oral communication skills. The candidate will have the ability to communicate and educate various levels of staff within multiple levels of Servicing.
- Perform daily review of flood insurance entry and adherence to compliance requirements
- Understand flood insurance requirements and regulations
- Perform daily review of hazard, wind, hurricane and other insurance policy entry
- Perform daily import and/or review of forced place insurance policies
- Adhere to regulatory guidelines related to flood, hazard, and force-placed insurance
- Compile reporting of findings and communicate as directed
- Review customer statements each production cycle for accuracy and completeness
- Research and issue escrow refunds on accounts
- Enter adjustments to loans, as necessary
- Effective and professional communication of results to stakeholders
- Timely follow up on calls, emails, and faxes
Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, detail minded
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Insurance or mortgage experience beneficial, but not required
- Effective communication skills (telephone, e-mail, and in-person)
- Bilingual communication, in Spanish or Portuguese, desired, but not required
