What You’ll Get to Do

The Driver Class A is focused on loading and unloading glass and/or metal products, and reports to the General Manager.

This role is perfect for an individual who is detailed, organized, and a self-starter.  A vital member of the Driving Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Handle and load/unload glass and/or metal products, secure the load, make multiple deliveries, and provide excellent customer service
• Verify product quantities before and during delivery
• Promote safety by inspecting delivery sites to ensure there is a safe environment to unload by following best practices for safety
• Ensure trucks are operating efficiently by performing thorough daily pre and post-trip inspections

What We Are Looking For

• At least 21 years old (to cross state lines)
• Possess a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence to operate the type of equipment the applicant will be driving
• Ability to obtain a medical examiner’s certificate of physical qualification
• At least two (2) years of verifiable, incident-free CDL A driving experience
• Is familiar with methods and procedures for securing cargo in or on the Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV)
• Meet all DOT requirements
