What the job looks like:

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you’ll work directly with clients in a detox and crisis stabilization setting, supporting their recovery journey through compassionate care and therapeutic engagement. You’ll assist with daily living needs, monitor client safety, facilitate groups, and provide emotional support using trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approaches. Your ability to stay calm under pressure and respond to crises with empathy will be key to creating a safe and healing environment.

You’ll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team—including nursing, counseling, psychiatry, and case management—to ensure continuity of care. From documenting client progress to participating in treatment planning and transporting clients to appointments, your role is vital in helping individuals stabilize and transition to the next phase of recovery. This is a dynamic, hands-on position where every shift brings opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

Apply if you have:

  • A high school diploma or GED plus 2–4 years of behavioral health experience
  • OR a Licensed Substance Abuse Technician (LSAT) credential
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field is preferred
  • Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
