Job Description
ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by EnergyCo to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.
Job Description
The Central-West Orana REZ Transmission Project is seeking Multiskilled Plant Operators to join our transmission line team.
Successful candidates will be required to travel to, and live in Merotherie NSW on a 14/7 roster, working 10-12 hour days. Accommodation and meals will be provided unless local to the Merotherie area who we encourage to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate variety of machinery to perform bulk earth works including cut and fill, trenching and compaction for 240km transmission line
- Prepare and level ground for transmission tower foundations and access roads
- Ensure proper drainage and erosion control measures are implemented
- Assist in excavation and backfilling for concrete foundations and footings
- Support installation of formwork, reinforcement, and concrete pours as required.
- Excellent communication, professionalism and respect to colleagues, local community and landowners
Required Skills and Competencies
Minimum Skills and Qualifications
- Excavator, Skid steer, Dump truck, Front end loader tickets at minimum
- Experience working on FIFO/Renewable energy/large Infrastructure projects
- Construction white card
- Full HR class driver’s license at minimum and own vehicle
- Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and police check
