We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Fiduciary Tax Administrator to join our Fiduciary Tax Admin Team. This role is essential in supporting the tax team with the preparation and administration of fiduciary tax returns and related documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and manage engagement letters for fiduciary tax services.
- Collaborate with the administrative team to e-file tax returns accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate the timely mailing of completed tax returns to meet strict deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to balance multiple, often conflicting priorities.
- Proactive and self-starting; ability to anticipate the needs of the team or executive and follow-up without prompting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to coordinate across departments.
- High attention to data integrity, detail, and process.
- Assist in preparation of account opening documentation and account profiles
- Perform cash management functions and related transactions
- Optimum screening of incoming communications and routing for action and follow-up
- Retrieve, distribute and record Federal and State tax notices, prepare FedEx shipments
- Establish effective working relationships with colleagues and external contacts and may be required to provide flexible support to other team members as required.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in fiduciary tax administration or trust tax preparation preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with tax software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Ability to work in a team structure
- Ability to adapt to various changes
The base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $85,000.00. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.
In addition, this position may be eligible for a discretionary incentive based on individual and company performance.
