A bit about your role
The Region Safety and Quality Lead role is responsible for embedding, operationalising, and delivering nbn’s Safety and Quality framework, objectives, and outcomes into nbn’s operational Field regions, and is directly accountable to the Field Region General Manager.
In this role, you’ll lead the implementation of nbn’s Quality Management and Safety frameworks within the region, working closely with Field Services staff to foster a culture of safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement. You’ll support the application of the Field Services Safety & Wellbeing (HS&E) Framework, helping to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, codes of practice, and safe work methods.
You’ll also contribute to the ongoing evolution of nbn’s Operations Quality and Safety Frameworks, ensuring they remain fit for purpose in a dynamic field environment. A key part of your responsibility will be overseeing governance and compliance across the region, ensuring consistent and effective execution of safety, quality, and wellbeing standards.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives on collaboration, influence, and making a tangible difference in the safety and quality of field operations.

You’re confident in identifying and executing improvement opportunities at a regional level, and you bring structure and clarity by developing and maintaining risk, action, issue, and decision registers that support effective governance and delivery.
