Legal Tech Solutions Consultant

Legal Tech Solutions Consultant is responsible for engaging with a respective subsegment of UK and Europe’s law firms – Small Law, Mid Law and Strategic Law – to fully ascertain their workflow challenges and collaborating with Sales Executives to develop sales strategies and solutions to address each firm’s respective challenges.

Working with Thomson Reuters full Legal tech portfolio you will ensure they meet a clients business needs and bridge the gap between their requirements and our capabilities.

Plays a key part in supporting law firms’ AI strategies as CoCounsel Essentials expands into the European/Caribbean market

About The Role

  • Engage in solution advocacy using best in class technology, providing solution and product expertise during the sales cycle. This generally involves supporting the sales teams to define and scope the appropriate solution to fulfill customer needs
  • Understand customer requirements / needs and find the best solution within Thomson Reuters’ capability to develop a suitable and strong proposal which can create difference from competitors
  • Partner with the Sales teams to help identify and drive sales motions.
  • Understand at a deep level the entire Legal Technology Suite (HighQ, CE, CoCo and Partnership program)
  • Drive innovation and thought leadership both internally and externally
  • Educate and support colleagues in understanding use cases
  • Overall, provide a well-informed, exceptional and seamless customer journey
  • Provide support up to point of on-boarding the customer and hand over to the post sale team.

Key Deliverables:

  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations
  • Conduct Pre Sale Workshops, providing technical expertise and solution design
  • Work with Sales teams to respond to RFPs and RFIs
  • Work towards recorded KPIs set around # of Demos and engagements and Activity.
  • Manage and lead trials/proof of concept evaluations
  • Public Speaking and Webinars
  • Overlay target based on Channel covered and based on net new/gross sales achievement based on region

About You:

  • Legal technology background and understanding of relevant industry technologies
  • Experience in customer success and SaaS environments
  • Excellent presenter and communicator
  • Experience of selling/implementation Legal Tech within the legal industry
  • Consultative and problem-solving skills (technology advocate and solution oriented).
  • HighQ and Contract Experience knowledge
  • Ability to build relationships and influence on multiple levels
  • Proven presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills and capability to apply these skills to all audiences
  • Expert understanding and experience of a law firms workflow
  • Experience of selling/implementing ‘Legal Tech’ within the legal industry would be an advantage
  • Consultative and problem-solving skills (technology advocate and solution oriented).
  • Desirable language skills: German or French
