Position Overview:
Compiles and records production data for industrial establishment to prepare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of raw material, quality control, and other aspects of production by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions:
- Maintaining assigned sales orders of new designs (new STC), creation of work order to meet OTD.
- Compiles and records production data from such documents as customer orders, work orders, product specifications and individual worker production sheets
- Maintains files of documents used and prepared as needed for product certification
- Compiles, from customer orders and other specifications, detailed production sheet or work orders for use by production workers as guides in assembly or manufacture of product
- Uses computer to enter, maintain, access or retrieve electronic files, reports or data
- Examines drawings and documents to verify completeness and accuracy of data
- Responsible for managing work orders affected by ECO and coordinating changes to BOM’s and revision control of work order drawings
- Demonstrates in-depth understanding of drawing structures and how BOM’s are configured within the ERP system
- Creates production build records (work order routers) in accordance with manufacturing engineering best practices.
- Able to troubleshoot issues pertaining to ERP software and Shop Floor Manager that affect production operations and time keeping
- Have basic understanding of FAA certification and customer driven quality requirements
- Ability to analyze and control inventory revisions affected by an ECO
- Works closely with functional groups in problem solving and implementation of resolutions
- Evaluates demand to confirm orders and identify issues.
- Sorts and distributes work orders or material to workers
- Assists in the maintenance of Manufacturing Lead Times (MLT) and production Standard Hours.
- Assists in make/buy decisions on manufactured parts
- Responsible for maintaining and reporting on policies and procedures in accordance with AS9100 certification requirements.

- Must be proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficient with ERP/MRP software
Qualifications
Education, Certifications and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- AA/AS degree, technical school certificate, or skilled trades apprenticeship or other post high school training
- 2-5 years related experience
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Working conditions are normal for that of a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment.
