Job Title: Research Investigator 1

Job Location: Fully Remote – equipment provided

Job Type: Full-Time, Billable Hours, Non-exempt

Compensation: $17 - $21/hour, paid weekly

Reports To: Regional Manager

The Research team is hiring a Background Investigator for a fully remote, full-time position. Responsibilities include conducting desktop-based investigations through research, documenting findings, analyzing records, and submitting reports within set timelines. Candidates should have strong communication skills for both internal and external interactions, demonstrate integrity, and be capable of conducting research and reporting background findings thoroughly. 


Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting Litigation Support investigations
  • Record Search
  • Simple Background Checks
  • Medical Canvassing
  • Social Media
  • Preparing and dictating detailed investigation reports
  • Adhering to strict due dates
  • Attending and testifying at hearings

Requirements

Background Investigator candidates must have:

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to communicate ideas effectively and professionally
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player
  • Attention and commitment to accuracy and detail
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to model behaviors that reflect Frasco’s core values
  • Capable of working independently, contacting clients, and strategizing about the best course of action to handle their needs and be able to proceed accordingly
  • If required by your residential state; a private investigators license

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:  

  • Understanding of available public records
  • Multilingual is a plus
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field
  • A degree from a four-year university or equivalent or currently enrolled
