What You'll Do

Your positive attitude and commitment to learn will shine as you take charge of:

  • Daily ISO Paper and combined board testing (ECT, Caliper, Ring Crush, and TST Testing)
  • Receiving and processing materials daily as they arrive from all Pratt locations
  • Conduct and report ISTA testing
  • Work directly with customers and Pratt locations to coordinate testing efforts
  • Ensure all testing is completed in compliance with: ASTM, ISTA, and Tappi standards
  • Assist with coordinating special testing projects from: Manufacturing plants, Paper Mills or Management
  • Conduct and report performance testing of combined board (Caliper, Score Bend, Burst, Pin Adhesion, Flat Crush, Slide Angle/COF, ECT, etc.)
  • Conduct and report performance testing of paper (Caliper, Cobb, Ply Bond, SCT, RCT, STIFI, Tensile, Water Drop, etc.)
  • Conduct and Report Structural Box Testing (Compression, Drop Test, Vibration)
