Job Description Summary:
The Small Business Performance Manager helps drive revenue growth through deepening and acquiring client relationships, driving a positive customer experience, and contributing to operational excellence. The Small Business Performance Manager works closely with the Region, Division, and Sales Performance leadership team to deliver integrated and impactful solutions & responsible growth. This is achieved via successful inspection & execution of the sales playbook and building relationships with key partners.
Responsibilities:
Provide timely feedback to the Market Manager on Client Experience and Market strategy opportunities
Support focused client relationship care training to improve Small Business Banker and specialist performance with effective, professional representation of brand and offerings
Gather associate feedback and customer insights on messages, offers, merchandising, and collateral to improve awareness of offerings and elevate the client experience
Cultivate & foster an environment amongst the team of mirroring positive behaviors and valuing community involvement
Evaluate overall effectiveness of sales activities through data analysis and coordination of client sales processes and activities
Identify, develop, and implement solutions/strategies that address key business priorities
Improve workforce effectiveness and productivity by applying talent analytics to hiring, resource planning, performance management, and retention of top talent
Drive the end-to-end process and management of new hires, recruiting and developing talent, mentoring, training, and coaching sales teams to improve sales performance
Required Qualifications:
3+ years’ experience leading, coaching, and managing high performing sales teams
Small business acumen in portfolio management and client management
Track record of creating collaborative partnerships that deliver value for customers, partners, and the organization
Strong interpersonal communication, coaching, persuasion, conflict management, and presentation skills
Demonstrated confidence in tailoring messages horizontally and vertically throughout an organization
Ability to travel within the market weekly and travel some overnight monthly
Desired Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience leading, coaching, and managing high performing sales teams in financial services
Root cause analysis and action planning
Pipeline development and management
Virtual and in-person experience delivering classroom training or skill building exercises
Formal small business or commercial credit/lending training
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
Minimum Education Requirement:
High School Diploma/GED/Secondary School or equivalent
