Position Overview:
We seek an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Manager to join our Pewaukee, WI headquarters team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our client billing, collections, and month-end close processes. The ideal candidate is independent, thinks critically, and can effectively present ideas and data to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and send external client invoices, utilizing data import files and miscellaneous billing reports.
- Collaborate with the account management team to collect critical data needed for accurate client billing.
- Prepare client aging reports, account reconciliations, and journal entries for month-end close; assist with all billing-related close tasks.
- Update and maintain the internal billing system, including client data, bill rates, and project information; assist with system upgrades and updates.
- Review client profitability and costs to identify and resolve potential billing issues or opportunities.
- Proactively present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or as business needs dictate.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or related accounting functions.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex data to senior leaders.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
