Summary
The HR Generalist serves as the primary Human Resources contact for the site, supporting day-to-day HR operations and ensuring alignment with company policies and practices. This role reports directly to the Sr. HR Business Partner and plays a critical role in fostering a positive employee experience, supporting HR processes, and maintaining compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
•    Serve as the on-site HR representative, providing guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters. 
•    Manage and execute onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires. 
•    Support employee relations by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and escalating issues as appropriate. 
•    Administer HR policies and procedures consistently and fairly. 
•    Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation. 
•    Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans. 
•    Coordinate training and development initiatives in partnership with the Sr. HRBP. 
•    Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. 
•    Partner with the Sr. HRBP on organizational initiatives and change management efforts. 
•    Collaborate with payroll and benefits teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee data. 
•    Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve employee engagement and operational efficiency.
 

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 
•    2+ years of experience in a HR role, preferably in a manufacturing or operational environment. 
•    Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements. 
•    Demonstrates a collaborative approach and maintains a positive, solution-oriented attitude in team environments with strong communication skills. 
•    Demonstrates strong emotional intelligence, including the ability to navigate interpersonal dynamics, manage stress effectively, and foster positive relationships across diverse teams. 
•    Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. 
•    Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. 
•    Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
 

Preferred Qualifications
 •    PHR or SHRM-CP certification. 
•    Experience supporting a multi-shift or hourly workforce.
