JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
Regal Boats is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist with strong expertise in workers’ compensation administration and compliance. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for workers’ compensation claims, partner closely with operations and safety teams to reduce injuries, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities

- Workers’ Compensation: Manage all workers’ comp claims, coordinate with employees, carriers, and medical providers, and ensure timely reporting and documentation.
- Injury Prevention & Return-to-Work: Partner with Safety and Operations to investigate incidents, identify trends, and manage return-to-work/light-duty programs.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, FLSA, OSHA, ADA), maintain records, and support audits.
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate personnel records, assist with HRIS updates, and provide guidance to managers and employees on relevant policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on workers’ compensation and compliance.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FMLA, FLSA, OSHA, and ADA.
- Proficiency with UKG Pro or a similar HRIS system.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent).
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. It is a fully onsite role, five days a week, and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that a team member must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member will regularly sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time. The team member must frequently go into non-climate-controlled manufacturing facilities to connect with and assist management and team members with HR-related issues. The team member is occasionally required to lift up to 15 pounds.
