Job Summary:

The FP&A Analyst plays a key role in driving financial insight and strategic decision-making across the organization. This position is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling to support business planning and performance management. The Analyst partners with department leaders to analyze financial results, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations that enhance profitability and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled at translating complex financial data into clear, business-focused insight.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Collaborate closely with business leaders to identify trends and explain anomalies.
  • Drive discussions with operational leaders to increase collective financial acumen.
  • Analyze and report on key performance leading indicators spanning organic growth, productivity, profitability and post-close acquisition performance.
  • Elevate current processes for greater efficiency and scalability.
  • Assist in frequent M&A due diligence support, financial modeling and integration efforts.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses of the First Aid & Safety business to drive value creation.
  • Develop accurate and timely reporting as needs arise.
  • Assist in preparing materials for quarterly board meetings and monthly financial snapshots.
  • Leverage historical data and financial analysis to aid in developing the annual budget.
  • Assist in annual audit completion as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics. Master’s in finance or MBA a plus.
  • At least three years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, or Corporate Development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Highly effective communicator, thrives in fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills, demonstrates proactive problem solving and professionalism.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, talking on the phone, attending virtual online meetings, and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to travel.
