Position Description:

At a Glance

 

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operations Associate to join the Data Power and Control Team in Lake Forest, CA. Tasks include picking and stocking inventory, labeling small parts, packaging and shipping, organizing the warehouse areas, occasional driving to local vendors to pick up product, and assistance with various warehouse operations as needed.

 

What Will You Do?

  • Labeling small parts using label maker
  • Packaging and shipping orders to customers
  • Organizing the warehouse areas
  • Providing support labelling goods per product specification
  • Occasional driving to local vendors to pick up product
  • Occasional picking items from inventory as required to fulfill customer orders
  • Assistance with various warehouse operations as needed
Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.

 

Experience: Prior warehouse, shipping experience preferred.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Motivated, detail oriented and reliable
  • Driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Data entry and Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • General computer knowledge
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing
  • Must be able to lift up to 35+ pounds at times
  • Travel to pick up or drop off packages on occasion
  • No Heels or Opened toe footwear should be allowed in the warehouse during regular business hours
  • No Long Nails when labeling or packaging
