- Transports and delivers goods in accordance with the schedule as determined by supervisor
- Properly secures loads and ensures loads are within weight limits
- Verifies counts and condition of goods loaded and unloaded. Makes reports of overages, shortages, and breakage/damage as needed
- Unload deliveries and reload shuttle shipments
- Will be required to sort, load, unload, and consolidate boxes, pallets, and containers as needed for correct and efficient distribution
- Assures that all equipment/product is safely loaded and securely transported
- Ensures good customer relations by consistently delivering orders on time and acting in a courteous and professional manner
- Reports into the dispatch office when completing a scheduled delivery and/or when delayed
- Completes daily equipment (truck) maintenance logs, delivery, and driver logs
- Verifies all customer documentation is completed, and that all activity is reported accurately by reviewing and returning all paperwork to the office on a daily basis
- Operates the truck in a safe manner. Reports any vehicle problems and defects. Must comply with all Federal Motor carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and other standards and regulations.

- Abides and follows company safety policy and conducts all activities safely
- Duties will include the delivery of equipment and products
- May train new company drivers on routes and customer processes and procedures
- Assists with any other tasks in the warehouse or deliveries as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
- Communicate with drivers and client contacts to ensure timely delivery to FIDELITONE customers
- Responsible for sorting and preparing all delivery paperwork
- Ability to operate FIDELITONE routing processes and/or software to effectively schedule, instruct, route, assist, and communicate with drivers
- Works with and assists drivers and customers to problem solve and provide excellent customer service
- Effectively communicates incidents/accidents that may occur and reports appropriately to Corporate Safety team and appropriate Operations staff
- Responsible for communicating cancelled or rescheduled deliveries to end customer and client
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend and speak English
- Must have a current/unexpired REAL ID compliant driver’s license
- Must have a current medical certificate, or the ability to obtain one
- May be required to train and gain certification in HAZMAT and/or other pertinent transportation-related certifications
- Working knowledge of DOT and Hours-of-Service (HOS) regulations for Commercial operators when applicable, as well as pertinent OSHA, HAZMAT, and transportation-related certifications that may be required
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management, peers, and clients is necessary
- Excellent problem-solving, task prioritization, follow-up, and customer service skills required
- Intermediate computer proficiency in Excel and Word
- Heavy lifting required (75+ lbs assisted)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime with little notice
- Must successfully complete a criminal background investigation and drug screen
- Must maintain a clean MVR, criminal record and remain drug free
- Must be able to navigate in various weather conditions
Required Experience
- A minimum one year of driving experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years prior dispatch experience a plus
- 1 year of related experience in a box truck preferred
- Bilingual helpful not required
