Food Runner

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Food Runner for our B-Lux Restaurant. In this role you will be responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to the guests in an accurate and quick manner. You will also be expected to work with the front-of-house team and the kitchen team to ensure that all guests receive an enjoyable dining experience. 

As part of our team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.

Starting Rate: $14.00 an hour

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner.
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, host/hostess, food runner, and management) as situations rise.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

What We’re Looking For

• General food and beverage knowledge, involving 1 year of front-of-house operations is preferred.
• Personality is one of service to others
