JOB SUMMARY
As part of our recent growth, we are seeking an experienced Part Marker to join our team. The ideal candidate will identify and pull correct material identified on a work order, part mark parts as specified on the work order, complete detailed work order, and perform clerical and physical tasks in connection with shipping parts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
• Perform part marking.
• Package materials for shipment to customers.
• Compare identifying information and materials to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records.
• Ship goods and packages.
• Assist with moving Boeing purchase orders from Exostar.
• Assist with entering orders into Visual.
• Utilize production work orders, documents, drawings, specifications, and written or oral instructions to perform tasks necessary to meet production requirements.
• Operate forklift lift or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments.
• Maintains written and Visual Manufacturing records.
• Detect and report defective equipment, materials, and faulty operations to supervisor.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
• Maintain safe working practice’s and insure area is clean and free of any possible unsafe situations.
• Comply with all federal, state, company and customer requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to identify potential issues with machinery, parts or process.
• Knowledge of and ability to apply basic mathematical skills to the work environment (such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers)
• Knowledge in basic computer skills in Windows environment and basic literacy in MS Office
• Skill in identifying, organizing, estimating and recognizing differences or similarities
• Ability to identify, organize, estimate and recognize differences or similarities with excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge or experience working in an inclusive work environment, particularly those persons with disabilities
• Skill in prioritizing and managing a fast paced work environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
• Ability to read, write, communicate and/or follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate in English through voice, or American Sign Language or adaptive technology.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

SALARY PAY RANGE:
Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. We have four lines of business; Aerospace Manufacturing, Aerospace Finishing, Technical Services, and Business Solutions, that operate in 3 locations. Salary Range: $17.00 - $20.00
*2nd shift is eligible for a $1.25 shift differential
