Olympic College is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Manufacturing and Trades Division. The Manufacturing & Trades (M&T) Division prepares students for careers in industries such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, welding, and precision manufacturing. This position provides administrative support to the Dean, faculty, staff, and students, ensuring smooth operations, scheduling, documentation, purchasing, and program planning. Acting as a liaison between the division and OC leadership, faculty, students, advisory committees, and industry partners, this role supports over 60 faculty members, five staff, and 500+ students.

Position Duties

  • Provides confidential, high-level administrative support to the Dean of Manufacturing & Trades by managing office operations, coordinating communications and schedules, supporting meetings and events, making informed decisions, and facilitating clear, timely collaboration across division stakeholders.
  • Coordinates program activities and communications by maintaining division calendars, supporting faculty facility needs, advising stakeholders, and using software tools to track program goals and resource management.
  • Provides administrative support for the M&T tenure process by scheduling committee meetings, managing documentation and minutes, coordinating with faculty and committee members, and ensuring compliance with tenure policies and deadlines.
  • Delivers administrative and purchasing support for M&T division disciplines by managing procurement processes, ensuring vendor compliance, and assisting with registration events at PSNS.

This is a full-time classified position scheduled to work 40 hours a week, with a salary range of $41,724 - $55,584 annually. All classified positions will start their salary at Step A, when you have completed six months of probation, you will receive a 5 percent pay increase. A collective bargaining agreement exists, and this position is covered by the Washington Public Employees Associate (WPEA) Union. Classified positions qualify for the following benefits:
