Position Overview:

ATC Healthcare Services is seeking a Medication Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in long-term care, home health, or assisted living settings, and will be responsible for the safe preparation and administration of medications under supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications accurately and in accordance with facility and state regulations

• Monitor and document medication administration and resident responses

• Maintain medication records and assist with reconciliation

• Support nursing staff and assist residents with daily care needs

• Work weekends and holidays as required

Qualifications:

• CPR and First Aid Certification

• Medication Dispersal Certification (New Jersey)

• 6 months or more of experience as a Medication Technician

• Prior experience in long-term care, home health, or assisted living

• Availability for weekends and holidays

Certification Eligibility (as per NJDOH):

• Must be currently certified in New Jersey as a Nurse Aide , Personal Care Assistant (PCA).

• Must complete an NJDOH-approved Medication Aide training program.
