About the role
Deliver hands-on support to palliative care and rehabilitation patients across community and inpatient settings
Work closely with allied health professionals in physiotherapy, OT, dietetics, speech pathology and social work
Carry out delegated clinical tasks and therapy support to enhance patient care
Manage equipment loan pools, including delivery, collection and stock tracking

About you
Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or;
Working towards a university degree in Occupational Therapy or;
Internationally Reconised Occupational Therapy qualification
Current unrestricted NSW Class C driver’s licence.
Experience working 12 months or less as an allied health assistant
Experienced in managing an equipment loan pool, including tracking, maintenance and logistics
Confident working within a multidisciplinary team and delivering delegated clinical tasks under supervision
Solid understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and how to apply safe work practices in daily tasks
Technically proficient with Microsoft Office and clinical systems used in health settings
