 Kepak St. Merryn in Merthyr Tydfil has combined beef and lamb processing and packing facilities. We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers’ counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service; raised on open pastures, sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers, we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the HR Department at Kepak Merthyr Tydfil. We are currently looking for a HR Administrative Assistant on a 3 month basis.

This position is Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm.

Requirements

HR Records & Compliance

  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases
  • Ensuring GDPR compliance and conducting regular audits
  • Processing contract amendments and employment changes

Employee Lifecycle Support

  • Managing holiday, sickness, and absence records
  • Handling maternity/paternity/adoption processes
  • Supporting offboarding and exit interviews

General HR Administration

  • Responding to employee queries
  • Preparing HR reports and payroll documentation
  • Creating staff handbooks, newsletters, and policy documents
