We’re looking for a friendly, professional, and compassionate individual to join our reception team at Powderham Veterinary Group — a well-established small animal practice on the outskirts of beautiful Torquay.
You will be the first point of contact for clients and the public both on the telephone and in person, demonstrating a professional and knowledgeable impression to promote the Practice.

Powderham Veterinary Group has been established since 1981 and are well known for our kind, family feel practice. We are a dedicated, busy SA first opinion practice.
About You:
*Experience in the veterinary industry is ideal, but not essential.
*Proven background in customer-facing roles is a must — you care about giving clients the best possible service.
*You're empathetic and calm under pressure, with a professional and polite manner.
*Strong admin skills: confident using Word, Excel, and similar software.
*Experience with cash handling and accounts is a plus.
*Familiarity with veterinary Practice Management Systems is beneficial (training provided).
*Most importantly, you'll be a great fit for our supportive, close-knit team.
Your shift pattern
This is ideally a full-time role working 35-40 hours covering a variety of shifts; however, we are open to discussing flexible working.
