Title: Senior Credit Analyst

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire

Position Details: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM

*Salary negotiable based on level of experience


 

The Merrimack is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Analyst to join our team and play a vital role in evaluating and managing credit risk across a diverse portfolio of commercial banking clients.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Three to five years of related banking, finance or credit experience
  • Previous commercial credit analysis experience with the ability to read, interpret and analyze business financial statements
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills with the ability to work as part of a collaborative support team
  • Skill in working with lending/credit software platforms; intermediate to strong spread sheeting (MS Excel) capabilities with ability to create ad-hoc reports efficiently from general specifications provided
  • Ability to apply understanding of established policies (Loan, ALLL policies) in order to properly highlight and document exceptions during the review process
  • Experience working with loan origination systems (LOS), specifically nCino, is preferred to support efficient loan processing and documentation. 

 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gather, organize and evaluate financial statements and other credit information
  • Identify potential credit risks and loan opportunities among new and existing commercial customers
  • Conduct annual financial reviews of the bank’s large commercial relationships
  • Assess collateral adequacy, including calculating the collateral coverage ratio using policy advance rates
